Basic Information

Description of the Organization Responsibilities

The Interact program is a partnership between Price Charities, San Diego Rotary & Hoover High School. Our mission is to help students reach their maximum potential academically and personally; to assist the students in developing skills in the area of team work, self-esteem, decision making & communication. We are currently looking for college students to support our efforts by helping students in the After School Study Hall sessions. Support will be provided through tutoring math, science or English.  Students will be responsible for working with 10th - 12th grade students from Hoover High School to accomplish their academic needs.  Students will be helping with math, english, and science.  We do have opportunities for students to participate in weekend retreats as facilitators.

Age(s) of Participants

15 to 18 years old.

Research Availability

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Orientation Requirement

Yes.  Please schedule an orientation prior to your first visit.

Dress Code

Please wear neat, casual clothing.

Testing Requirements

A letter of clearance from the HDP Field Research Coordinator (Emma Chan).
