Physiotherapy Associates - Clairemont Mesa

Basic Information

Organization and Responsibilities Description

Physiotherapy Associates is a private national rehabilitation company with over 700 outpatient clinics throughout the United States. There are 8 clinics in San Diego County.

The Clairemont Mesa office works primarily with adolescent through senior adult clients with orthopedic issues. We occasionally work with neurological and general medical diagnosed clients. We offer physical therapy with the following staff: 4 physical therapists, 2 rehabilitation techs, and 2 orthopedic certified specialists.

Physiotherapy Associates can be a valuable resource in gaining insight and experience into the field of physical therapy. The student will primarily observe patient treatment (at the discretion of the therapist and patient). The student can learn about the requirements for applying and becoming accepted to a physical therapy program, the variety of settings that therapists work in, and the processes that therapists employ in assisting their patients.
