Serving Seniors – Potiker Residence

Basic Information

Organization and Responsibilities Description

The Potiker Family Residence provides a home for low-income seniors who have had a history of financial instability, transiency, and in some cases, homelessness. The support programs located within the residence provide the safety net services needed to assist the most at-risk residents in maintaining stability and independence. Students observe and engage with residents and staff, and participate in daily activities. The Potiker Family Senior Residence has been named as one of the nation's five best practice models by the Shelter Partnership.
