Organization and Responsibilities Description
The Academy at Bright Horizons offers a dynamic, experiential curriculum that prepares gifted preschool children for success in kindergarten. HDP 191 students support teachers in providing positive learning environments and participating in varied instructional investigation and experimentation.
Message from the Site Mentor
Our teachers work such different hours, that it can be difficult to put a student with the age of children she/he wants to work with. Flexibility on the part of the student is preferred when scheduling hours.

Orientation Requirement
By appointment only. Please call the office to set up your initial orientation prior to your start date.
Check-in Procedure
Park in the staff lot and sign in and out in the main office.
Research Availability
Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Dress Code
Business attire: no jeans, no shorts, and closed toed shoes.
Testing Requirements
- Letter of Clearance from the Field Research Coordinator
- TB test
Additional Requirements
Confidentiality should be observed at all times. Any correspondence with the parents must be pre-approved by the office. No pictures may be taken of the children. Prompt attendance is expected.
