Basic Information
Organization and Responsibilities Description
MeBe Family is a premier provider ensuring every child has immediate access to ethical, evidence-based therapies. Their mission is to empower families, professionals, and communities by educating and training them on evidence-based approaches. To improve the quality of life of those who they love and serve so every individual may achieve their maximum potential. To foster an engaging environment where employees are motivated, recognized for excellence, and encouraged to cheer each other on. Their core commitments include: early intervention, customized therapy, fun, playful activities, on-going progress analysis, family centered approach, meaningful and lasting change, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
For spring, the student placed at MeBe will have two site mentors who are Masters level SLPs finishing up their fellowship; the mentors are excited to share their knowledge with a student who wishes to learn more about speech language pathology. Students will primarily shadow with opportunities here and there to support the therapists by assisting with tasks like note taking or preparing patient rooms.
