Organization and Responsibilities Description
The Arc is committed to supporting and empowering children and adults with disabilities to achieve their goals and reach their maximum potential. With community support they are able to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.
Students at The Arc will be placed in art, music and general recreation classrooms. Students will provide support for instructors, participate in activities and even have the opportunity to introduce and lead their own activities. It will also be expected that students engage with and contribute to the positive and fun classroom environment.

Research Availability
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Dress Code
Appropriate, casual attire.
Clearance Requirements
- Volunteer onboarding paperwork
- Interview / Introductory meeting
- TB Test
- Background check and drug screening through specified provider
- Covid vaccines and at least one booster
- Zoom orientation
- Reporting and abuse training
- Masks required at all times on site
Other Requirements
Patient confidentiality must be respected at all times. Picture ID at all times.
