TERI Inc. - Campus of Life

Basic Information

Organization and Responsibilities Description

TERI has grown to accommodate the needs of many while remaining true to its original goal: to improve the quality of life for children and adults with developmental and learning disabilities, and to change the way the world sees them, allowing for inclusion within the community. Through support, advocacy, dedication, innovation, and resolve, TERI has brought opportunity and hope to countless individuals and families.

Located in San Diego County, TERI has been cited as a model program in the State of California. In this capacity, the agency has conducted statewide training on the provision of quality services to this segment of our population, developed program and training manuals which have been purchased by the State and social service agencies nationwide as resource materials, served as a training site for Medi-Cal and Department of Health Licensing Surveyors, and provided extensive advocacy services for persons with developmental disabilities.  In this service field, TERI is recognized as a leader in the development and operation of high-quality training, education, and residential programs.

Students can be placed in a few areas depending on their interests; please have an idea of what you’d like, but know that site supervisors can discuss placement details later. In each area, students will shadow and provide support for group activities.
